I love to see the temple. I'm going there someday. To feel the holy spirit, to listen, and to pray.
Last Monday we went to the temple for FHE. I'm so grateful we live so close to a temple. While we were there I reminded why it is so important to listen to the words of our leaders and "visit the temples often". It was so neat and powerful to be able to walk around the temple grounds and talk to Cooper and Ella about getting married in the temple, why we have temples, and service we can give in temples. It definitely kept their attention more then just showing them a picture of the temple. :-) It was so fulfilling as a parent to hear them say that they want to go in someday and get married and be taught. (Ella was more focused on the "married" part.) :-)
I have a family hear on earth. They are so good to me...
The primary kids in our ward planted a tree by the temple last year. Cooper and Ella were not happy about the weeds growing around "their" tree. Cooper said, "Mom, we're picking the weeds so that our tree won't die."
There was a bride & groom taking their wedding photos and
Ella said, "Mom, It's a princess from Disneyland! I want to see her!"
I said, "Do you want to go say "hi" to her?"
"Yeah!"
But as soon as we went up to say "hi" Ella got shy on me. She was nice enough to let us take a picture with her, but while Tyler was taking this picture, the wedding photographer was also shooting away. I hope we don't end up in one of her albums!
I love Cooper he loves me. He loves Ella yes-ser-ree! They love Addi so you see...
We are a happy family!
I'm trying to be like Jesus, I'm following in his ways...
I am a child of God, and he has sent me here...
