Mae's Blessing Day

Mae was blessed by her father Tyler Jones on Sunday, March 9th.  It was a special blessing and this girl has been put on the earth to do some amazing things.  We are so excited to see her learn and grow and develop her talents.  We're so grateful to have her as part of our family.

Spring Break Part 3

On the last day of spring break we packed the kiddos up and headed to the Phoenix Zoo.  We have an annual zoo pass and so it's fun to go whenever we want and not feel pressure to stay the whole day.  The kids had a great time and Mae was perfect.

When I asked the kids to get the shoes on so we could leave Clara ran up to her room and returned with these knee-high socks and polka-dot shoes on.  I try to let my kids dress themselves as long as it's modest and not too crazy. :-)

For years Ella has been asking if she could ride the camels at the zoo.  Well, thanks to Grandma Wagner her dream finally came true!  Ella, Addi, and Clara all got to go on the camel.  Cooper wasn't interested. :-)  He said he rather stick to the carousel.

Mae started to get a little hot so I took her pants off.  She was happy just sleeping the entire time.

Spring Break Part 2

I was so grateful that my parents came to visit during Spring Break - they helped keep the kids entertained and made the week extra special and fun.

One day they took the 3 older kids to a spring training game.   The kids were so excited and even came home with baseballs signed by some of the players.

Another day we went and visited my Grandma Layton (Great Grandma for the kids).  It was her first time seeing Mae and it was neat to have 4 generations all together in the same room (Grandma Layton, my mom, me, and the girls).  It's hard to believe she's only a few years away from being 100!  She looks amazing!

Spring Break Part 1

We just had Spring Break last week and the weather was beautiful!!!  Our pool is still a little to chilly to swim, but it was perfect weather to use the slip and slide!

Although having 4 daughters means lots of pink, lots of ruffles and frill, lots of glitter, and lots of drama.  It also means lots of helpers, lots of hugs and loves, and lots of fun.  We love our girls! :-)  And we're so grateful for our 1 boy! 

Tilly

Over spring break we watched our friend's dog for them.  She is super sweet and it was fun for the kids to see what it's like to have a dog (since we will probably never get one).  It's definitely like having another kid.  Clara loved putting Tilly's leash on and taking her for walks inside the house. :-)  Then one day she decided she was walking to the dog to school.

Winter Basketball

Cooper played winter basketball this year and his team did great!  They went 7-1 for the season and Cooper had a couple of baskets almost every game and lots of steals.  I'm glad he likes to play because we love going to his games and watching him!

1 Month

Another 2 weeks has flown by and Mae has reached the 1 month milestone!  So far she is a wonderful baby!  Wakes up 2 times at night, sleeps and eats great, and is so fun to cuddle with!  We love her and the kids can't wait for her to start smiling and interacting more. :-)

 She's not a huge fan of the baby swing but it works to keep her awake. :-)  Still trying to teach her day and night.
