Brave Little Boy!

Cooper wanted me to put these pictures on our blog so that Grandma Wagner could see his big road burn that he got from longboarding.  When Cooper rides Tyler's longboard he kneels down on one leg and then uses the other leg to push him.  Once he has his speed up, then he tucks the pushing leg underneath him and leans to turn himself right or left.  Well, we were outside a couple of weeks ago riding bikes and Cooper wanted to ride down the big hill that is at the green-belt near our house.  He was flying down when suddenly one wheel went off the cement and got caught on the grass and so the board stopped, but Cooper didn't.  He went flying forward, and then next thing I knew he was up and laughing at what had just happened.  But then he looked down at his knee and lost his strength to laugh...

At first he was hanging in there and being brave...

then the pain set in. :-(

Ella felt bad, but she was really just excited about how many clips she could fit in her hair.  And Addison was concerned why Cooper was crying.  She's become pretty sensitive lately.

Those pictures are great. Tough little guy. It's always funny to me how the sight of the owiee is worse than it feels.
