For our anniversary Tyler made reservations for us at a resort in Sedona. Kim was so nice to watch the kids for us - THANK YOU! So we dropped them off Friday afternoon, and made the beautiful drive to Sedona. For those of you that haven't visited AZ lately and just picture dirt and cactus...you are wrong! AZ is so beautiful and GREEN right now! We've had a lot of rain and so all the ferns having been growing and wildflowers. It is simply amazing! When we first got up to Sedona we got settled into our room, and then we headed into town to find a restaurant that was featured in the "Arizona Highways" magazine as one of the best places to eat in Sedona. Oh my goodness! If you like or love Mexican food and you are in Sedona...you have to stop and eat at Elote Cafe. It was the best Mexican food I have ever had!!! After our tummies were stretched as far as they would go, we walked around town a little, went and saw a movie, and then on our way back to our cottage they had an astronomer at the resort doing a stargazing event. Tyler and I were wow'd by this guys knowledge of the stairs, and it was neat to learn and be able to point out some more constellations besides just the Big Dipper. :-) We had a fabulous time, and it was really neat to get away for a weekend! Thanks babe for making it happen! I love you!

Our "Cottage"
This is Tyler's next project...an outdoor shower. This was connected to our bathroom and there was a door you opened and then there was the shower. It was neat because when you showered the aroma from the wet wood was amazing! Tyler really wants us to have one of these at our house. :-)

That shower is cool, but somehow I can't imagine smelling the Arizona dirt will be as pleasant as the woods.:-)
