We love going camping as a family and decided to head south instead of north this summer. We camped near the top of Mt. Lemon outside of Tucson. The weather was beautiful besides the one day of scattered rain (it always rains at least one day when we go camping). It's always fun to relax, enjoy nature, and be together as a family.
The van is loaded to the roof with all our gear!
Cooper was whittling some wood.
The girls enjoyed collecting green moss.
This was Mae's first time camping and she did so well!
Cooper made this awesome t-pee fort all by himself out of rocks, wood, and a survival tarp. The awesome part is that even when the rain was pouring down you could stay dry inside of it.

Stopped at Eegee's in Tucson for a slushy. Super yummy!
On our way home we also went to Kartchner Caverns. Unfortunately, you're not allowed to take pictures, but it was so neat to see the underground caves and rocks. It was beautiful.
