I'm still trying to catch up on events that I've missed so even though this is 4 months late I still wanted to post these pictures for my own record.
EASTER TIME!!!
I love the spirit that Easter brings...family gatherings, remembering our Saviors atonement and resurrection, egg hunts, yummy jelly beans, bright colors, warmer weather, playing outside. It's a wonderful time of the year!
This year we invited Tyler's family to come to our house to dye eggs and have a little hunt. The kids helped me fill hundreds of eggs with candy and even a couple with money (that perked the older kids interest). It was fun to be together.
I also realized that I am not in any of these pictures. Sorry - I was the one taking all of them. I need to work on making sure I'm in at least one picture so my kids can remember I was there. :-)
We got a little fancy this year and tried some tie dye egg solution. They turned out really cool!

Annual Jones Confetti Egg War
I think this is our 3rd year doing this, but Kim (Grandma Jones) found these eggs at Walmart one year and thought it would be fun. Well, the kids (and adults) had so much fun each year it has grown and grown. So all of these colorful eggs are real, but they've been hallowed out and filled with confetti.
Tyler's cousin Britney and her family came over for the action. It was fun to have more kids there!
Again, not in any of these pictures. :-( But I promise I was there! I was the one taking the pictures and holding Clara because she was afraid of the confetti.
