Priceless service...

"...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)

I decided that it was time for me to support our ward choir, and if I was going to keep telling the Young Women in our ward that they should go, then I thought I should set the example and go myself. One Sunday a couple of weeks ago I arrived at choir practice, and our amazing ward chorister, Sis. Jaworski, was saying how we really needed more male singers. Bishop Catmull asked me where Tyler was and I said he was at home with the kids. I said that he would be here if the kids were old enough to watch themselves. Two "texts" later, Bishop Catmull informed me that Leah (his daughter) would come over every Sunday and watch our kids so Tyler and I could both go to ward choir practice. How awesome is it!?!?!? Tyler had to get used to the idea. He said he hasn't been in a choir since his mom made him go when he was young, but I think he's enjoying it more and more. :-) I am so grateful for Leah and her generous acts of kindness and service! My kids LOVE when she comes because she usually always bakes something with them. She is so wonderful!

That is so sweet and what a fun thing for you two to do together.

btw - is that cookie dough in your Vitamix? Can you make cookie dough in that thing? I think I need to get my instructions out or do you have any tips for me?
