Once 3 p.m. comes the kids are ready to get out of the house, and I am ready for them to burn off that extra energy they have so they will go to bed sooner than later. This is the time of year that I love! Today around 3:45 p.m. I took the kids outside to play and the weather was perfect! I set up my camping chair or put Addi in the back of my bike, and we play until Tyler comes home, and then I start making dinner. We are so spoiled to live on a court, and we hardly ever have cars come down our street. So our street becomes a race course, skating rink, skateboard park, basketball court, baseball field... The kids will go knock on the neighbors doors and slowly as kids finish their homework they'll come out to play too. And then the other moms bring out their camping chairs and we're all lined up talking and watching the kids play until dinner is ready.
I love our house. I love our little street. I love this time of year.
