So Stinkin' Hot!

So I'm a horrible mom and in the rush of the morning I totally forgot to take a picture of Cooper on the "First Day of School".  So tomorrow I will post his "Second Day of School" picture. (maybe we'll make it our own little family tradition - taking a picture on the 2nd day of school instead of the 1st?) :-)  Anyhoo, but I wanted to share the conversation Cooper and I had after I picked him up from his first day of Kindergarten:

M: How was your first day of school!?
C: It was long.
M: What made it seem long?
C:  All we did was talk about rules.
M:  That's what you talk about on the first day, but I'm sure tomorrow will be more fun.
C:  I'm just glad I get to come home for lunch.
M:  Why is that?
C:  Because I don't think my quesadilla would stay warm if I took it to school with me.  And if I had to eat lunch at school I would have to sit outside where it is stinkin' hot!

I couldn't stop laughing!  All day he kept saying stinkin' hot!  But he said he likes hot weather better than cold.  We were in Cali over the weekend and on our drive home yesterday he said:

C:  Dad, I have 3 reasons why I don't want to live in California
D: What are they?
C:  Number 1 - I couldn't go swimming because the water is too cold!
Number 2 - I couldn't be outside when the sun goes down because it gets too cold!
Number 3 - I couldn't play outside because it is too cold!

So there you have it.  It's one or the other for Cooper... Stinkin' Hot or Too Cold!!!

I couldn't agree with you more, Cooper. Marshall says I have like a 2 degree window of happiness.

Hey Kristen! It's Cami Jensen (Jones side cousin). Your blog is so cute and your family is absolutely adorable! We are flying in Thursday morning for Jaimie's wedding and I wondered if you or someone you know has an extra infant carrier car seat, pack n play and possibly an Exersaucer that we could borrow for Audrey while we are there. We will be in town through the following Friday. If you could just email me and let me know that would be great! We can't wait to see you guys! :)
