Well, we have a little scavenger that doesn't always like to eat at "mealtime", but has no problem finding food on her own. Yesterday for lunch Ella wanted "cinnamon toast". I know I am not a very good mom feeding my kids cinnamon toast for breakfast, but sometimes you have to pick your battles. (I didn't want to spend an hour trying to fight her to eat a sandwich.) Ella only ended up eating 3 or 4 bites and then went off to play. Then we were getting the kids ready to go swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Jones', when I asked Tyler where Addi was? This is what we found...
She ate every bite left on the plate, and was more than proud of herself. When I said, "Addi, is that toast good?" She said, "MMmm!" and then clapped her hands together.

It's amazing what little ones can find how quickly they do it! :)
Seriously, I totally get it! Quietness usually equates to sneakiness.
If I let him, Gavin would eat "candy toast" (cinnamon toast) for every meal, and you know what? sometimes he does. It's just so yummy.
