I'm busying myself in the kitchen and suddenly I hear the familiar "clap, clap, clap" sound coming down the hall. I was expecting to see Ella in one of her dress-ups with her heels on, but to my surprise it was Addison! She is growing up so fast, and already she is ALL girl. It is very common lately to see her with a bracelet on her wrist, necklace around her neck, purse on her arm, and heels on her feet. I never thought myself too much of a "girly-girl", but somehow Ella and Addison will eat, sleep, and live for pink, puffy, and sparkly.
When I was taking this picture I said, "Addi, show me your shoes." And so she lifted up her dress and raised her foot to show me her princess shoes. If she could talk she would have said, "See my beautiful shoes, Mom?"
