We took a Saturday day trip to the nearby Superstition Mountains to see the hieroglyphics. It was about a 2 mile hike roundtrip and the kids did awesome. Mae was only 2 months old but slept all the way up, had a bottle and then slept all the way back to the car. It was fun to get out and enjoy the desert.
The trail was so beautiful because all the cactus were in bloom. Who knew cactus could look so beautiful? :-)
It's so amazing to see the old hieroglyphics and think of the people that used to live here.
There were quite a few people hiking the trail with us.
Fun to see others enjoying the outdoors.
Cooper thought he was being funny.
Wonder how old this sahuaro cactus is?
We love that the kids enjoy hiking outdoors. It's fun to go on day trips with them.
