Tyler and I were asked to be in charge of 4th year high adventure girls camp this summer. We accepted without quite knowing what we were getting ourselves in to. After 6 months of planning and preparing we went to camp in June and everything went perfectly. The lack of sleep, exhaustion, stress, and time away from the kids was hard, but it was a good experience and I'm glad we could serve.
All the girls stuff got dropped off at our house to be put on the trailer.

We made the girls drag the porta johns to where they needed to be. We wanted them to work a little. :-)
My hot husband!!! I had to protect him from all the girls. :-)

The YM/YW theme for the church this year is "Stand in Holy Places" so Tyler and I made a flag for our camp that said "I Will Stand in Holy Places". At the end of the week all the girls signed it and presented it to the Stake Presidency. The flag was my arch nemesis. It took me 3 times to make it. And even then it was not what it was supposed to be, but it worked out.

Tyler let our YCL paint his nails. It was absolutely disgusting and I asked him to take it off a couple of hours later. For some reason it just grossed me out and felt wrong.
